Mandi Bahauddin: All affected Secondary School Teachers(male and female) including Headmasters and Headmistress have requested the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court (LHC) to give order concerned department for issuing the notification of promotions from grade 17 to Grad 18 halted by the Secretary Education (Schools) Punjab.
All affected SST are waiting their promotion for three years. All affected teachers have said in this regard that our link training promotions were completed and Departmental Promotion Committee has also given approval for the promotion of 282 teachers.
They said despite all clearance, Secretary Education (Schools) Punjab was not issuing notification of their promotion.
They said that it was mentioned in the promotion policy that for the promotion from Grade 17 to Grade 18 it is necessary to work in Grade 17 for five years but they have been working in Grade 17 for seven years.
Earlier the department had sought PERs till 31-12-13 with files but there were no progress after passing one year.
Similarly the department had sought PERs till 31-12-204 but all in vain.
