NEW YORK: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has extended his stay in US, reliable sources have disclosed. As per the schedule, the interior minister was to return back on Wednesday (today), but now his possible arrival has been postponed until Friday. The political pundits have expressed different views over of his (Nisar) stay in US. Most of them have stated that army chief’s statement regarding corruption and accountability has taken significance and Nisar has extended his stay in the US in the wake of this statement. Sources stated that the minister has addressed only one function during his current stay in New York so far. However, he is likely to hold more meetings during his stay in US, added sources.
